Ner Tamid is a small, tight-knit Reform congregation. The majority of our congregants are young families, though we have an active and growing population of a more seasoned generation of Jews, whose experiences and knowledge is cherished. The majority of our families are inter-faith, and a large number of those involved were not affiliated with a synagogue in their adulthood prior to becoming involved in our congregation.
Our community is operated almost entirely by volunteer efforts. Helping build a congregation together has created a powerful bond amongst our community, though we are welcoming of new faces and will make every effort we can to help you share in this connection.
Whether you were raised in an observant family, are raising your family Jewish but have chosen a different faith personally, or are just now exploring Judaism for the first time, you will feel comfortable at our services. We value diversity, and enjoy sharing our love of Torah, Israel and G-d to those interested in taking part.
